Last weekend we had a visitor in town who was doing some consulting at the school. After a long week at work, we decided to take her out in the drizzle to see some of the “real” Japan.
After a little research, we all headed outside and after a train, another train, and a bus, we were headed up Mount Maya with the help of a cable car and gondola.
Once we got the top, we headed straight for lunch, and then we ventured into a fabulous Buddhist temple.
On our way home we found out school was cancelled for the week because of H1N1 in the teenage population of Kobe.
Fabulous day! Here are the photos.
It is about time that Todd and I joined the third-most-recent technology revolution, especially since he is a tech coordinator. We both now have iphones.
Also, I have required students to create podcasts this year, and I never created one for myself.
So I am introducing the new podcasting series: Kirsten and Tessy Read Together. Today’s selection is Eating the Alphabet by Lois Ehlert.
